
The Uzbek branch of Wildberries company, WB Int Export, has registered a new company with the aim of establishing the WB Taxi service in the country. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Kursiv Uzbekistan reported on this. The company was registered with the state in June 2023.
According to official data, WB Taxi plans to provide taxi services. The company's authorized capital amounts to 500 thousand soms.
The main share, that is 99 percent, belongs to WB Int Export, while the remaining 1 percent belongs to RVB LLC. RVB LLC was established as a result of the merger between Wildberries and Russ Outdoor, an outdoor advertising operator.
Kursiv Uzbekistan newspaper sent a request to the company for additional information. At the same time, it was announced that the initial trial phase of the WB Taxi service is being carried out in Belarus.
In Belarus, the opportunity to download mobile applications related to this service has already been created. Additionally, reports have emerged that Wildberries plans to enter the passenger transportation market in Moscow in October 2023.
According to some sources, the company intends to acquire the Sitimobil service. Furthermore, Anatoliy Smorgonskiy, the former head of the Gett and Bibi taxi aggregators, has joined the Wildberries team.
He has been appointed responsible for managing the WB Taxi division.
