An unusual incident that occurred in Thailand caused a great stir in the country's mass media. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In a temple in Nonthaburi province, a 65-year-old woman prepared for cremation was found alive inside the coffin. According to the details of the incident, temple staff heard a faint knocking sound from inside the coffin and immediately opened it.
The woman lying inside the coffin had her eyes half-open and was knocking on the lid. According to information provided by the woman's brother, she had been suffering from a serious illness for two years and appeared not to be breathing a few days earlier.
For this reason, she was taken to a hospital in Bangkok for organ donation, but was not admitted due to the absence of a death certificate. After that, the woman's body was brought to the temple.
However, cremation was not carried out here either due to the lack of official documents. During the ceremony, the coffin knocked again, surprising the staff and those gathered.
The woman was urgently taken to the hospital. Doctors found that her blood sugar level had dropped sharply, indicating a severe hypoglycemic condition.
In fact, her heart and respiratory functions had not stopped. The temple administration announced that they had taken on the costs of her treatment.
This incident amazed the local community and sparked widespread discussions.
