Secret negotiations in the Kremlin: parties failed to reach a compromise
Secret negotiations in the Kremlin: statement about 4 plans and lack of compromise On Wednesday morning, negotiations took place in the Kremlin between representatives of Russia and the USA on peacefully resolving the war in Ukraine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The meeting lasted five hours and ended at 02:30 Tashkent time. On the Russian side, President Vladimir Putin and his aide Yuri Ushakov participated in the negotiations.

From the US delegation, the President’s special envoy Steven Witkoff and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner took part. According to Ushakov, in addition to the initial "peace plan," the USA presented four more documents to Russia.

However, Vladimir Putin expressed a critical, even negative attitude towards several proposals from Washington. Territorial issues were also discussed during the negotiations.

Ushakov emphasized that although some proposals were not completely rejected, no definite solution for compromise has yet been found. Nevertheless, he assessed the meeting as useful and meaningful.

According to him, much work still needs to be done to achieve peace. The negotiations were held entirely behind closed doors, and it was announced that details would not be disclosed.

The US delegation will report to Trump, after which the negotiations will continue. At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he is not expecting easy solutions and is closely monitoring the signals following the US delegation’s talks in Russia.

He also did not rule out the possibility of a meeting with Trump. Negotiations continue on the path to peace, but much discussion is still required between the parties.
