
The road traffic accident that occurred in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan also affected the lives of Uzbek citizens. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to official information, on December 7 at around 08:57, a major accident occurred at the 1028th kilometer of the republican significance highway passing through the Aytekebi district. A Yutong passenger bus traveling on the Perm – Tashkent route lost control for unknown reasons and overturned to the side of the road.
There were a total of 49 passengers on the bus, and five people died as a result of the incident. Unfortunately, two of them were Uzbek citizens.
The remaining passengers were hospitalized with various degrees of injuries. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, a special working group has been established to bring the deceased compatriots back to the homeland and organize funeral ceremonies.
In addition, ministry officials are working together with Kazakhstani authorities to investigate the causes of the unfortunate incident. This event has deeply saddened the entire community.
This tragedy has once again highlighted the urgent issues of ensuring passenger safety on international routes, monitoring the condition of technical equipment, and strictly adhering to safety requirements.
