A strong wind in Brazil caused a replica of the Liberty statue to collapse. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This incident attracted the attention of both local and international communities. The C1 portal reported on this.
The event took place on December 15 in front of the Havan shopping center in the Guaiba municipality. The shopping center, opened in 2020, is home to this statue, which reportedly had all the necessary technical certifications and documents regarding its durability.
According to experts' warnings, wind speeds in the area were expected to exceed 90 kilometers per hour that day. The statue, with a total height of 35 meters, had a 24-meter section that could not withstand the strong wind gust and collapsed.
Most importantly, no one was injured as a result of this incident. To enhance safety measures, the site has been surrounded by special barriers.
