According to local media reports, a former internal affairs officer is suspected of killing his spouse. The incident took place on the evening of December 23 in one of the multi-story buildings at the intersection of Bokonbayev and Ibraimov streets.
According to preliminary information, a quarrel broke out between the husband and wife, resulting in the man shooting the woman six times. The woman died at the scene due to severe injuries.
It was revealed that the couple had officially divorced on that very day. The most tragic aspect is that the incident coincided with the deceased’s birthday.
The woman was about to turn 47 years old. It was also noted that the family had two children.
The suspect was arrested and placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigators determined that he was intoxicated at the time of the crime.
Additionally, it was reported that the deceased had previously contacted the police due to domestic violence. A criminal case has been initiated under the charge of "Murder" regarding this incident.
