Delsi Rodrigues is temporarily performing the duties of the President of Venezuela

The Supreme Court of Venezuela has decided to temporarily assign the presidential duties to the country's Vice President, Delsi Rodrigues. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to this decision, Rodrigues assumes the presidential duties to ensure the continuity of the country's governance and to protect the state in all respects. In this regard, Delsi Rodrigues addressed the nation through Venezuelan state television, stating that Nicolas Maduro remains the country's legitimate president, but she is ready to continue governance in his absence.
Rodrigues condemned the aggressive policy of the United States towards Venezuela and emphasized the government's readiness to protect the people. Her statement was supported by the Speaker of the Venezuelan Parliament, Jorge Rodrigues, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Diosdado Cabello, and the Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino Lopez.
Together, they demonstrated the unity of the government. However, U.S. President Donald Trump, while expressing his position on matters related to Venezuela, did not rule out the possibility of deploying military forces to Venezuela if necessary.
Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is reported to have communicated with Vice President Delsi Rodrigues and discussed various measures regarding Venezuela. The political tension between Venezuela and the United States is intensifying and may lead to new problems on the international stage.
This situation may cause the world politics to enter a new phase.
