Tensions between Iran and the US are escalating

The recent tensions between the US and Iran have further complicated the relations between the two countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Qalibaf, if the US launches any attack against Iran, Tehran will respond by targeting Israeli and American military bases as primary targets. According to Reuters, due to this tension, Israel is approaching any US intervention against Iran with caution.
If the conflict expands into a full-scale war, Israel is likely to take necessary measures to protect its interests. Sources indicate that high-level preparations are currently underway, aiming to avoid further complicating the situation.
During the previous conflict between Iran and Israel in June, the US supported Israel and participated in airstrikes. Meanwhile, the internal situation in Iran has also intensified.
In December, mass protests began in the country due to economic problems, the devaluation of the national currency, and rising prices. Protesters are demanding a regime change and the restoration of the monarchy that ended in 1979.
According to Time magazine, 217 people died during these protests. US President Donald Trump condemned the use of force against protesters in Iran and mentioned the possibility of new military measures against the country.
According to the WSJ, US officials have discussed potential military actions against Iran.
