Teacher who harassed 24 girls at school is in custody
A 32-year-old teacher accused of molesting 24 female students at one of the secondary schools located in Dilovasi district of Kojayeli region has been detained. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Local media outlets reported that some female students studying at Mubajjal Choloqogli secondary school in Turgut Ozal neighborhood informed their families about inappropriate behavior by the teacher O.M.
The matter was brought to the attention of the school administration, and appropriate measures were taken.
Interviews conducted by the school's psychological service staff revealed that the teacher had engaged in improper conduct towards 24 female students over the course of a year. This information was conveyed by the parents to law enforcement agencies.
As a result of the investigation carried out by the internal affairs department officers, the teacher O.M. was detained.
He was initially interrogated and then a court ordered his detention. The accused was sent to the Qandara penal institution.
Investigations regarding the case are ongoing.
