Kim Jong Un promised to expand nuclear power

The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, announced that he will continue the plan to expand and strengthen nuclear weapons. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the Korea Central News Agency, he spoke about this during the military parade held at the conclusion of the ruling Workers' Party's ninth congress in Pyongyang. Kim Jong Un emphasized that the party remains committed to further strengthening and expanding the national nuclear capability.
At the same time, North Korea continues to demand recognition as a nuclear state. Kim Jong Un also noted that improving relations with the United States depends on the US position.
He stated that if the US ends its policy of hostility towards North Korea and recognizes the country's current status, the two sides could reach a mutual agreement. Additionally, reports mentioned that Kim Jong Un has not yet accepted the meeting proposal from former US President Donald Trump.
