Uzbekistan and Iran ministers discussed regional security

Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Baxtiyor Saidov spoke by phone with Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During this conversation, they exchanged views on the current situation in the region. It was emphasized during the talks that any new escalation could lead to severe humanitarian consequences and an increase in security-related risks.
The parties noted the importance of not further complicating the situation. The official statement indicated that the proper way to resolve disagreements and conflicts should be through peaceful means.
In particular, it was stressed that issues must be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy. At the same time, both sides expressed their readiness to work together to maintain peace and ensure stability in the region.
