Iran Does Not Allow US and Israeli Ships to Pass Through the Strait of Hormuz

Although Iran has maintained military and economic control over the Strait of Hormuz while gradually restoring traffic through it, this opportunity has not yet been equally distributed among all countries of the world. Zamin.uz reports on this matter.
According to previous data from Tehran, the right of passage through the strait has been granted only to vessels belonging to states such as Russia, India, Pakistan, Iraq, and China. Other countries have not yet been permitted to use this vital waterway.
In his statement, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that transport vessels belonging to the US and Israel still cannot pass through the strait. This situation indicates that Iran is effectively using Hormuz not only as a waterway but also as a tool of strategic pressure and a geopolitical weapon.
State leaders are striving to shape the situation in this region for their own benefit. Previously, international media outlets reported that Iran had made passage through the strait a paid service for countries included on its list.
Thus, the Strait of Hormuz has not only retained its military-political significance but has also become a serious point of economic control. This is directly affecting trade turnover in the region.
Nevertheless, overall maritime traffic in the region has not yet fully returned to normal. According to recent data, a total of fifteen ships have passed through the strait in recent days, most of which belong to Iran.
This situation indicates that global supply chains are still not absolutely stable and remain in a state of concern. Behind this situation lie the efforts of US President Donald Trump to involve NATO allies in the Hormuz issue.
In his previous speeches, he accused allied states of not participating actively enough in this important region and warned that if this continues, serious consequences could arise. Currently, the international community is closely monitoring future developments in this strategic area.
