First ballistic missile attack from Yemen to Israel

According to official information from the Israeli defense forces, last Saturday, March 28, there was a missile attack from Yemen on Israeli territory. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This incident is considered the first such attack observed since the current confrontation between Iran, the United States, and Israel began. The Israeli army immediately activated its air defense system and announced that it successfully intercepted the launched projectile.
So far, there has been no precise information about casualties or deaths, nor about damaged buildings and facilities as a result of the attack. The responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Houthi movement in Yemen, supported by Iran.
The Al-Masirah TV channel, affiliated with the Houthis, confirmed that ballistic missiles were sent to specific military targets in southern Israel. Representatives of this group openly stated their intention to continue their attacks.
The Houthis had previously declared their full support for Tehran. These statements have further intensified concerns about the possible opening of a new war front from Yemen.
Yesterday, Houthi representative Yahya Sari'a stated that the movement is ready to join the fight on Iran's side. These events have increased fears of escalating tensions in the region and the conflict turning into a broader war.
The Houthis have previously struck commercial ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, one of the world's most important trade routes, several times. According to analysts and international publications, Saudi Arabia and the United States are trying to prevent the Houthis from directly joining the conflict.
The reason is that such a step could draw more countries into the war and seriously threaten shipping routes passing through the Suez Canal. The worsening situation in the region is also affecting the global economy, increasing instability.
