The first X-class flare occurred on the Sun within two months

Today, March 30, the highest level flare occurred on the Sun for the first time in the last two months. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, an "X-class flare" occurred.
This is the first such event observed since February 4, 2026. The event is considered the second significant occurrence on the Sun after the plasma ejection observed on March 28.
The newly ejected plasma cloud is currently visible through space telescopes. According to calculations, the main part of the plasma cloud is directed sideways, but some of it may affect the Earth.
Previously, the laboratory emphasized that a large plasma ejection on the Sun could potentially impact the Moon mission. NASA's Artemis II mission is expected to begin on April 1.
In this mission, four astronauts will orbit the far side of the Moon without landing and return to Earth. This is the first controlled flight since 1972.
The mission will last approximately ten days.
