If Trump-Erdoğan talks end without results, it will hit the energy infrastructure.

United States President Donald Trump said that if negotiations with Iran end without results, there is a risk of a serious blow to the country's main oil and energy infrastructure. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, these strikes would also affect Khark Island, which is strategically very important. President Trump announced this to the public on his social media page on March 30.
He stated that if no agreement is reached between the parties in the near future and the Strait of Hormuz is not quickly opened for emerging economic activity, the US is ready to destroy several important facilities in Iran. This list includes power plants, oil wells, and strategic points like Khark Island.
Trump emphasized that they could also target desalination plants on the island. However, the president hopes to resolve the situation not only with anger but also through the negotiation process.
He said that serious and effective talks are being held with the new and smarter political regime in Tehran. It was reported that significant progress has already been made in this process.
Earlier, Trump confirmed to journalists that Washington, through mediators, had conveyed demands to the Iranian leadership, many of which they agreed to. This statement was also based on interviews that appeared in the foreign press on March 29.
In it, Trump expressed Iran's desire to take control of the strategic situation in the region by strengthening control over the oil industry. This opens up opportunities to capture Khark Island and manage oil exports with its help.
In response to questions about the island's defense, the president emphasized that there is no large defense system there and the US can easily capture it. He said that possible military measures have broad capabilities.
Thus, Trump's latest statement once again showed how urgent the political and strategic relations between the US and Iran are. This situation has not only intensified regional security but also increased global attention in the energy sector.
Currently, world leaders and analysts are closely watching the outcome of this process.
