Elon Musk will launch the first cargo rockets to Mars in 2026
Elon Musk is accelerating his grand plans to prepare humanity for life beyond Earth, Zamin.uz reports.

According to the well-known entrepreneur, the first cargo rocket launches from Earth will take place by the end of 2026. The primary goal of these missions is to deliver essential equipment and construction materials needed to establish future outposts on the Moon and Mars.

A key aspect of the project is that humanoid robots—not humans—will be the first to set foot on these new worlds. According to Musk’s latest plan, SpaceX will initially focus on building a permanent city on the Moon.

Experts note that the Moon’s proximity to Earth makes it far easier to test the technologies and infrastructure necessary for human survival. Under the plan, a permanent lunar base will be established within the next ten years.

At the same time, regular shipments of construction equipment to Mars will begin over a seven-year period. Recently, SpaceX presented a major initiative to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission.

According to the proposal, a vast network of 100,000 artificial satellites will be deployed to strengthen communication between Earth and the colony.

This system will also provide high computational power for billions of AI devices and for robots that will operate on other worlds in the future. As specialists emphasize, in the future, each robot will not need its own powerful computer.

All major computing processes will be carried out remotely via the artificial satellite network. This way, before humans arrive, all necessary conditions and infrastructure will be prepared and built by robots.

These processes are already underway, and soon the next batch of artificial satellites will be successfully launched into orbit. Work is ongoing to develop more powerful transport systems capable of delivering heavy construction machinery and large cargo to Mars.

Experts believe the biggest challenge in relocating humans to another world is transporting millions of tons of cargo to the colony. Therefore, creating affordable and reusable rockets is considered a key factor in the success of this monumental project.

According to the strategy, robots will handle tasks such as unloading cargo, installing solar panels, assembling habitats, and producing water and oxygen. Supplying robots is far easier and safer than supplying humans, as they do not require food or air.

Only continuous electrical power and technical maintenance are needed for them to operate efficiently. As scientists emphasize, once these preparatory efforts are complete, humanity’s era of mastering the colony will advance to a new stage.
