Porsche has confirmed that it will stop producing gasoline versions of the Macan in 2026. This decision was made as part of the company's electrification strategy. Porsche has officially announced that internal combustion engines (ICE) will not be available for the Macan in the future.
At the same time, Porsche is considering the possibility of developing new ICE and hybrid engine SUVs by 2030. The new model is expected to maintain modern design and brand-specific features.
Porsche has decided to revise its electrification strategy and continue producing popular models like the Cayenne and Panamera with ICE until the end of the 2030s. These vehicles will be equipped with hybrid and electric components. In Europe, these models may initially phase out the gasoline engine.
Additionally, Porsche is planning to produce an electric Cayenne, which will be part of the company's expanding electric vehicle lineup.
