The head of Fit Service auto service, Nikolay Pogulyayev, explained to the publication "Rossiyskaya gazeta" when it is better to buy summer tires.

"Summer tires are usually delivered to stores in February. This year, we expect their prices to rise by 10−15% compared to last year. The price changes for different brands and sizes may vary slightly. It is possible to study the opinions of car owners and specialists in advance, but it is better to shop during the season when there is the largest selection. Various promotions are also held during the season – offers such as free installation or cashback for the next purchase may appear. Therefore, it is worth waiting for these offers. However, delaying the purchase is also not recommended, as demand will be high during the season and queues may arise at service centers," said the specialist.

When choosing summer tires, it is recommended to pay attention to their protection against aquaplaning. If the tread width is sufficient, it is advisable to choose models with wide drainage channels.

There are currently many popular brands in the tire market. People are gradually getting used to Chinese manufacturers, but specialists recommend choosing Chinese premium or mid-range segments. It is also advisable to stay away from completely unfamiliar brands that do not have reliable reviews. Such companies may not return to the market after the season ends. For this reason, it is necessary to study the warranty conditions for the tires before making a purchase," emphasized Pogulyayev.
