The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan issued a warning to entrepreneurs engaged in international road freight transport, according to nova24.uz.
According to the information, it was reminded that the multilateral permits issued by Mintrans can only be used on the routes Tashkent – Andijan – Osh – Irkeshtom – Kashgar and vice versa.
These permits are intended for the development of the transport corridor between the three countries.
However, recently it has been found that some carriers are using these permits only for freight transport between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
These actions violate existing regulations. Therefore, such permits are considered invalid, and in these cases, the issuance of permits to carriers may be restricted.
