The new Toyota Avalon sedan was introduced after the facelift

Toyota, a leader in the Japanese automotive industry, is preparing to unveil the next restyling of its Avalon sedan—one of its most famous and influential models. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
New photos and technical specifications from the database of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology confirm that this flagship sedan has undergone significant changes—from its exterior appearance to its powertrain. This marks the third major update for the Avalon model, which now shares many similarities with its close relative, the Toyota Camry.
The design of the new Toyota Avalon reflects the brand’s recent stylistic direction, particularly incorporating elements from the latest generation of the Toyota Camry and the rear-wheel-drive Toyota Crown. The front end has been completely redesigned, in a strong presence in the market.

The side profile remains largely unchanged, but customers will be offered new-design wheels. The overall length of the vehicle, placing it among the largest sedans in the business class.
From a technical standpoint, the updated Avalon, featuring modern LED headlights and an expanded grille with vertical bars, giving it a distinctive and solid appearance.
Additionally, additional air intakes have been added to the sides of the bumper to improve aerodynamic performance. The rear of the vehicle has not been overlooked either.
The previously used continuous light strip has been replaced with separate light blocks, and the model name has been moved to the central part of the trunk lid.
While the side panels of the body remain nearly unchanged, buyers will be offered new-design alloy wheels. The vehicle’s overall length exceeds five meters, making it one of the largest sedans in the business class.
Technically, the refreshed Avalon shares its platform and components with the new Toyota Camry. In the base configuration, the car is equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine producing 150 horsepower.
This version is aimed at those who prioritize fuel efficiency and ease of maneuvering in urban conditions. According to specialists, the vehicle’s dynamic performance and efficiency have been significantly improved.
For higher trims, Toyota engineers offer a self-charging hybrid system based on the 2.0-liter engine, with a total output of 184 horsepower.
The main advantage of the hybrid Avalon lies in its fuel consumption. According to the manufacturer, the car consumes less than four liters per 100 kilometers.
This figure is considered exceptionally high for a sedan of this size. In the Uzbek automotive market, the Toyota brand—especially the Camry and Avalon models—has consistently enjoyed high demand.
The updated Avalon, with its spacious interior, modern technologies, and fuel-efficient hybrid engine, is sure to win the favor of premium sedan enthusiasts in our country.
Although the new model is initially intended for the Chinese market, it is expected to become available in other regions in the near future.
