Xiaomi has officially registered its first hybrid crossover

Xiaomi, a leading company in the tech world, continues to expand its presence in the automotive market. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The company’s third model and first hybrid crossover, the Xiaomi Sky Nomad N90, has been officially registered with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. This new model marks a significant step following the success of the SU7 electric sedan and the anticipated YU7 crossover, and is expected to pose serious competition to established models like the Li Auto L9.
The Sky Nomad N90 is built on Xiaomi’s entirely new Kunlun platform. The manufacturer describes the vehicle not just as a means of transport, but as a comfortable living space on wheels.
The car’s main feature is the high level of flexibility in its interior. Special longitudinal guides installed throughout the cabin allow the seats and central control panel to be freely moved.
This enables users to easily reconfigure the interior according to their needs and preferences. According to technical specifications, the crossover is equipped with a series hybrid system.
The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 152 horsepower functions solely as a generator, while the wheels are driven by two powerful electric motors. The system’s total output is 421 horsepower, providing full-time all-wheel drive.
Although the vehicle’s top speed is limited to 190 km/h, its power reserve is impressive. The new model is equipped with a 76 kWh battery.
This allows the car to travel up to 370 km on electric power alone—a figure close to the capabilities of many fully electric vehicles—and helps significantly reduce fuel consumption on long intercity trips.
Xiaomi will offer the new crossover in both five- and seven-seat configurations. The vehicle’s dimensions are also impressive, with a length exceeding five meters.
Additionally, a camping modification with a special tent in the trunk is planned for release, aimed at travel enthusiasts. The cabin provides all necessary comforts for passengers, with front seats that can recline and second-row captain’s chairs ensuring a high level of comfort during travel.
While interest in hybrid crossovers is growing in Uzbekistan’s automotive market, this model could become a worthy competitor to premium-brand rivals. Although the official price has not yet been announced, experts emphasize that the vehicle’s technical capabilities and innovative solutions are likely to quickly win consumer favor.
