Entrepreneurs face many problems in finance and land issues

Davron Vahobov, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, today provided information on the most common problems and challenges faced by entrepreneurs in our country. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
An analysis of appeals conducted by the Chamber shows that the main part of complaints directly relates to finance, land cadastre, and tax sectors. Specialists emphasize that eliminating existing shortcomings in these areas plays a decisive role in improving the business environment.
The first and most pressing issue entrepreneurs face is the process of obtaining credit. Currently, the need for financial resources for working capital and new projects among business entities is very high.
However, strict checks imposed by commercial banks and property valuation requirements often create additional difficulties for business representatives. To address this situation, it is recommended to fully comply with the preferential collateral procedure established by the state leadership and to simplify procedures.
The second important area is land and cadastre matters. Entrepreneurs encounter various administrative obstacles when purchasing land plots through auction trading, as well as when implementing promising projects in the livestock and agriculture sectors.
Complications in land allocation and document formalization hinder the timely launch of investment projects.
The third major issue is related to certain procedures in the tax system.
In particular, the criteria of the rating system applied during the refund of value-added tax create unexpected difficulties for entrepreneurs. Strict requirements used to assess the discipline and activity of taxpayers often lead to the freezing of funds of law-abiding entrepreneurs.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry continues systematic work to streamline these processes and comprehensively support a favorable business environment.
