Large breed cattle were brought to Uzbekistan from China for the first time

For the first time, 325 heads of high-yielding dairy cattle were brought to Uzbekistan from the People's Republic of China. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The animals were transported over a distance of more than four thousand kilometers to our country. According to specialists, the weight of each imported cow is approximately 900 kilograms.
It is emphasized that these animals are distinguished by their high productivity. It is expected that each cow will be able to produce up to 5,500 liters of milk per year and will quickly adapt to local climatic conditions.
This is of great importance for advancing livestock breeding in our country to a new level. The import of new dairy breeds will help increase efficiency in the livestock sector.
These measures are being implemented to significantly increase the volume of milk and meat production, as well as to supply the domestic market with high-quality and affordable products. According to industry experts, an increase in the number of cattle could help reduce meat shortages in the future, boost market supply, and prevent unjustified price increases for beef.
At the same time, specialists note that meat prices are influenced not only by the number of livestock but also by a range of economic factors such as feed costs, transportation expenses, production costs, and overall market demand.
Therefore, to ensure price stability in the consumer market, it is necessary to continue systematic work, taking into account all of these factors. This project represents the next important step toward strengthening food security in our country.
