Some farmers will receive subsidies of up to 100 million soums

The Presidential Decree "On the introduction of a modern organizational system in the activities of household landowners and farms and additional measures for financial support" (PF-22, dated February 14, 2025) has been adopted.
Financial support measures will be implemented from the funds of the support fund for farms and household landowners as follows:
- each year, grants will be allocated for the most exemplary and innovative project implemented on one household plot in 500 neighborhoods, not exceeding 100 times the minimum wage;
- subsidies of up to 15 times the minimum wage will be allocated for covering expenses related to organizing short-term training courses by experienced farmers for each course;
- experienced farmers who have established the cultivation of export-oriented products on the household plots of 50 percent of households in a specific neighborhood will receive subsidies of up to 100 million soms;
- household landowners and farms, as well as entities providing services to them, will be granted loans through commercial banks for projects on the cultivation, processing, drying, storage, and packaging of agricultural products for a period of up to 7 years with a preferential period of up to 2 years at a rate 4 percentage points above the Central Bank's base rate (of which 5 percent is the bank margin);
- compact refrigerated warehouses, packaging, drying and processing equipment, and ready-made greenhouses will be leased with a 24-month preferential period and a repayment term of 5 years.
