The Madrid "Real" football club has officially submitted a request to reschedule the match against the "Osasuna" team, originally set for August 19, in the first round of the Spain La Liga main tournament. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the club, negotiations have been held between the Madrid team and "Osasuna," and a proposal was made to move the game to October 29. This request from "Real" is related to the team's participation in the semi-final stage of the Club World Cup.
In this tournament, the Madrid team will play against Paris's "PSG" on July 9. Additionally, according to an agreement between "Real" and the players' union, a three-week vacation and a three-week preparation period for the season have been set for the team players.
If the game is held on August 19, this preparation and rest period will be disrupted. Therefore, changing the date of the match is considered important.
The club's proposal has been submitted to the La Liga leadership, and a decision is awaited.
