Two members of the National Guard were arrested for fraud.

As part of the fight against corruption, law enforcement officers conducted operational-search activities that revealed violations of the law.

In particular, the commander of the squad of the National Guard's Tashkent City Protection Department, Senior Lieutenant T.A., born in 1980, was detained with material evidence while receiving 5,500 US dollars at the parking lot of the "Ekobozor" shopping complex in the Ulugbek district in exchange for using his influence to employ a citizen through his colleagues in high positions in the National Guard system.

In a rapid operation conducted in the Ortachirchiq district of Tashkent region, the head of the health resort of the National Guard's Protection Department, Lieutenant Colonel A.R., was detained while receiving 1,500 US dollars in exchange for using his position to employ a citizen born in 1989 in one of the National Guard's protection units in Tashkent region with the help of his authorized acquaintances.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these individuals under Article 168 and Articles 28, 211 of the Criminal Code, and a preventive measure of detention has been applied. Investigative actions are underway.
