Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on the occasion of Navruz holiday

Shavkat Mirziyoyev delivered a speech at the Navruz celebrations taking place in the New Uzbekistan Park on March 21, congratulating the people of Uzbekistan on the holiday.

The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, spoke at a ceremonial event dedicated to the Navruz national holiday. The congratulatory speech was published by the presidential press service.

"We express our endless gratitude to the Creator for welcoming this radiant day peacefully and calmly with our homeland. This year's Navruz, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan and in harmony with its blessed virtues, brings a special spirit, unique grace, and joy to the celebration. On such blessed days filled with joy, we once again congratulate our faithful Muslims and the entire Islamic community on the holy month of Ramadan, wishing for all our pure intentions to be fulfilled. We sincerely congratulate our compatriots living abroad with the love and longing for their motherland," said the president.

It has been noted that Navruz has always received special attention due to its unparalleled spiritual significance in the 3,000-year history of statehood. The scientific, historical, and artistic works written about this invaluable holiday are so numerous that they rightfully have become immortal treasures of our national heritage.

"It is truly miraculous that our people have preserved this holiday with its noble nature and values even during difficult and challenging times throughout the centuries. The unique beauty of Navruz, its spirit of humanity, and profound philosophy continue to amaze all of humanity even in the era of globalization, demonstrating its eternal essence and life-giving power. Especially, the noble qualities of harmony between humans and nature, the desire for creativity, diligence and determination, mutual cooperation, kindness, and generosity are vividly manifested in the symbol of Navruz.

During the Navruz days, our hardworking farmers think about our sustenance and the blessings of our table, giving their love to the motherland, and firmly tying their belts with the intention of obtaining a bountiful harvest. In this sense, the words of our great ancestor Mir Alisher Navoi, "The farmer who sows seeds opens the way to sustenance by cultivating the land," embody profound life meaning. In such spring moments, where the joy of labor and creativity, awakening and renewal is increasingly growing in our hearts, we express special respect to our hardworking farmers, gardeners, and livestock breeders," said the head of state.

It has been reported that today, significant steps are being taken in the country to elevate human dignity, strengthen the principles of social justice, and improve the income and living standards of the population.

"In our country, many modern industrial complexes, infrastructure and logistics networks, and roads are being built. The business, IT, and tourism sectors are rapidly developing. Thousands of new buildings and homes, kindergartens and schools, universities, hospitals, cultural and sports facilities are being constructed. The appearance of our cities and villages, and our entire homeland is becoming increasingly beautiful and prosperous. Within the framework of the "Green Space" national project, a new ecological environment is being created in our region. Every year, the planting of millions of seedlings, the establishment of green parks, the preservation of wildlife, and the efficient use of every inch of land are becoming an integral part of our daily lives. I am confident that the large-scale work within the framework of the "Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy" state program will elevate these processes to an even higher level," said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

It has been emphasized that today, those managing high-tech enterprises in the country are mainly educated and skilled youth.

"The intelligent, energetic, and entrepreneurial young men and women are also giving new strength and momentum to the development of entrepreneurship. The soldiers and officers who are always vigilant at our borders are brave and courageous sons. Those who are promoting our homeland in the fields of science, culture, literature, and art are also the youth. Strive tirelessly to turn the unique opportunities in our homeland into practical results! Wherever you are, in whatever field you work, be worthy and loyal to our national values, our identity, and our homeland! Never forget that behind you stands a great nation of nearly 38 million, with the President. May fortune and success always be with you!" - said the president.

It is noted that the unique charm and allure of Navruz is primarily expressed in the folk celebrations and holiday festivities taking place in nearly nine and a half thousand neighborhoods. The role and influence of the neighborhood system, which embodies ancient traditions and modern values, is increasingly growing. Especially, the fact that various problems and issues are being resolved within the neighborhood itself significantly enhances the people's participation and effectiveness of reforms. Important tasks such as youth education, ensuring tranquility, reducing poverty, engaging the population in entrepreneurship, social protection, and enhancing the activity of women are being effectively addressed through the neighborhood system.

"It is known that this year, elections for neighborhood chairpersons will be held in our country. I believe that our people will vote for dedicated and patriotic compatriots in this responsible process. The comprehensive development of neighborhoods will continue to be at the center of our attention.
