The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, signed a decree simplifying the process of obtaining public services and reducing bureaucratic procedures. This was reported by Upl.uz.
These new rules will come into effect on December 1, 2025. According to the decree, civil registry offices will no longer require paper medical certificates from newlyweds.
Additionally, the obligation to submit a court decision on divorce will be abolished. Furthermore, the owner's address will be removed from certificates when registering vehicles.
The main goal of the decree is to expand and modernize the public services system. According to the plan, by 2028, the number of services provided through the unified interactive public services portal (my.gov.uz) and public service centers will reach 900.
Moreover, the number of active services will increase to 53, and the number of complex services will rise to 74. The President previously emphasized that insufficient electronic cooperation between government agencies is the main reason for bureaucratic obstacles.
