The Andijan region's Road Traffic Safety Department reported on a traffic accident that occurred in the Asaka district.
It was noted that on April 8 at 13:10, a "Zil MMZ" truck traveling on a secondary road crashed into a house in the Yangisor neighborhood of the Asaka district. The incident was caused by a technical malfunction in the vehicle's braking system.
From the video circulating on social media, it can be seen that the "Zil" crashed through the house's wall and part of the roof collapsed on top of it.
As a result of this traffic accident, the truck driver was hospitalized with injuries at the district hospital. No other citizens were harmed.
Currently, the Asaka district's Internal Affairs Department's Road Traffic Safety Group is conducting an investigation into the incident.
