Uzbek drivers are now heading to Japan for work, nova24.uz reported.
It has been announced that Japan's Shimizu Corporation plans to expand cooperation with Uzbekistan. For this purpose, a cooperation memorandum was signed between the two parties.
According to the document, Uzbeks will have the opportunity to work in various regions of Japan. The number of vacancies is expected to increase and new projects will be implemented.
Currently, 150 Uzbeks are working in the construction and manufacturing sectors of this company.
It is worth noting that recently Uzbekistan and South Korea also announced news regarding labor migration — it has been made easier for Uzbeks to obtain a work visa in the city of Ulsan on an experimental basis.
