The press service of the capital's administration has announced that a large-scale cleanup will be organized in Tashkent on April 12 and 13.
What will be done?
During the cleanup:
- the areas around multi-storey buildings will be cleaned;
- public areas will be improved;
- new trees will be planted, yards will be decorated;
- green spaces will be increased.
It is planned to ensure order and cleanliness in each district.
Dear Tashkent residents!
“This is our collective contribution to the prosperity and cleanliness of our beloved city,” the official call states.
Participation in the cleanup is completely voluntary! The law has also established this:
- A nationwide cleanup can only be held based on a presidential decree or government decision;
- No one will be forced to participate — work is only voluntary;
- Compliance with labor safety regulations is mandatory.
Neighborhoods will carry out the work of organizing children's and sports playgrounds, planting trees, and maintaining cemeteries together with citizens.
We remind you that the last nationwide cleanup took place in Uzbekistan on August 24-25, just before Independence Day.
Will you participate too? A little effort makes a big difference!
