Iran strike disabled US radar in Qatar

According to the Gorizont Telegram channel, the strike carried out by Iran disabled the US-owned strategic radar system located in Qatar. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The report states that the AN/FPS-132 radar, valued at approximately 1 billion dollars and located within the Al-Udeid airbase, was targeted. This radar is situated in Qatar and is considered one of the key components of the US missile defense system.
The radar complex can monitor a large area from Europe to the Indian Ocean. According to information, there are a total of six such radars worldwide, located not only in the US but also in the United Kingdom and Greenland.
The station at Al-Udeid airbase has very high technical capabilities and can detect missiles launched from Russian territory at distances exceeding 5,000 kilometers. Therefore, tracking missiles or drones launched from Iranian territory was a routine task for this system.
However, the fact that a high-tech radar was struck using a cheap drone is increasing interest in the incident.
