Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated World War II participants and labor front veterans on the 80th anniversary of Victory, Kursiv Media reported.
“First of all, I congratulate you and all our esteemed veterans on the 80th anniversary of Victory. On behalf of our entire nation, I express my deep gratitude to you,” the president said.
Mirziyoyev emphasized that thanks to the bravery of veterans, today's generation lives in peace.
This year, a one-time payment of 10 thousand dollars (approximately 128 million soums) will be made to World War II participants. Individuals equated to war participants will receive 25 million soums, and labor front veterans will receive 3 million soums.
