F/A-18 Super Hornet aircraft equipped with five tanks can cover a distance of approximately four thousand kilometers. If fewer tanks are used, the flight range is around twelve thousand kilometers.

Current analyses indicate that the aircraft carrier was forced to maintain a significant distance from Iran's coast and may currently be at least one hundred fifty kilometers away from the territory of the Islamic Republic.
