Today, on May 12, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, who is on an official visit to Tehran, was received by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkiyan.
Initially, the Uzbek side expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended to the country’s delegation and conveyed President Mirziyoyev's sincere greetings and best wishes.
During the meeting, it was particularly emphasized that due to the firm political will of the leaders of the two countries, mutual cooperation has been elevated to the level of comprehensive relations, and the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest level is also crucial for regional stability.
Moreover, special attention was paid to ensuring the implementation of agreements achieved in priority areas of bilateral relations, such as trade-economic and investment cooperation, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, interregional cooperation, and cultural-humanitarian fields.
As part of the visit to Tehran, a visit was also made to the House of Innovation and Technology of Iran, where advanced products and developments in sectors such as energy, medicine and pharmaceuticals, agriculture, IT, and construction were reviewed.
Thus, the visit of the Uzbek government delegation to Iran concluded.
