Athletic Bilbao has started negotiations for the transfer of Laporte
Athletic Bilbao has begun work on transferring central defender Emerick Laporte from Al-Nassr. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
On Saturday, the Basque club made a verbal offer to the 31-year-old player, according to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano. The Al-Nassr team is ready to sell the Spanish footballer without any hopes of keeping him during the current transfer window.
Athletic will use all possibilities to bring back their star mature player. Emerick Laporte has been active in Saudi Arabia since 2023.
