Benfica is ready to buy back Felis
According to A Bola, Benfica is currently making the most serious offer to transfer Joao Felish. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Lisbon club is ready to pay 25 million euros for a 50 percent stake in the player. Currently, Joao Felish belongs to Chelsea.
The 25-year-old Portuguese player is also attracting interest from West Ham and Wolverhampton, but Benfica's offer appears to be the most clear and serious. Chelsea head coach Enzo Mareska does not trust Felish for the new season, which increases the likelihood of him leaving the club.
The contract is expected to be finalized by the end of July. This would allow Felish to take the field for Benfica in the match against Sporting on July 31 as part of the Portugal Super Cup.
According to journalist Nicolo Skira, the player has reached a preliminary agreement on personal contract terms with Benfica. It is worth noting that Joao Felish transferred from Benfica to Atletico Madrid in 2019 for a record amount of 126 million euros.
He spent the last part of the previous season on loan at the Milan club.
