The Minister of Sports of the Republic of Mordovia, Nikita Larkov, commented on the readiness of the "Mordoviya-Arena" stadium to host matches of the Russian Championship and Cup. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the commission's conclusion has not yet been issued, and all work is ongoing. Overall, the stadium is considered ready and suitable for hosting matches.
It should be noted that the "Mordoviya-Arena" stadium in the city of Saransk was built for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. This stadium hosted four matches during the championship.
The total cost of the stadium's construction amounted to 16.5 billion rubles. Nevertheless, there is currently no regular professional football team operating at the stadium.
The arena has a capacity of approximately 44,000 spectators. The "Mordoviya-Arena" stadium may host several home matches of Nizhny Novgorod's "Pari NN" team in the Russian Premier League and Cup competitions.
