Korneev: Baltika can win against Spartak

Igor Korneyev, former "Barcelona" football player, expressed confidence that Kaliningrad's "Baltika" team is capable of competing against "Spartak" in the second round of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He emphasized that "Baltika" could show a good result in the match taking place in Moscow on July 26. According to Korneyev, the team could have created good opportunities in the match against "Dinamo" and taken the score to 2:0.

This would have ensured that three points remained in Kaliningrad. The team is physically well-prepared and has avoided acclimatization issues due to training in Moscow.

For this reason, "Baltika" could show an unexpected result against "Spartak," he said on "Match TV." In the first round, the Kaliningrad team drew 1:1 with "Dinamo" in Moscow, opening the scoring in the 12th minute.
