Flamengo wants to buy Arsenal striker Jesus

The major Brazilian club Flamengo is showing serious interest in striker Gabriel Jesus, who is playing for London’s Arsenal team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to RTI Esporte, the Rio de Janeiro club is planning to send an official offer for the 28-year-old player. Jesus's contract with Arsenal is valid until June 2027.

Transfermarkt reports that his market value is 32 million euros. Last season was not easy for Jesus, as he spent a lot of time out of the field due to a serious knee injury.

Nevertheless, he played in 27 matches during the season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists. Flamengo aims to strengthen its attack by adding the player to its team.

Jesus's experience and abilities are expected to help him find his place in the new team. Arsenal has also indicated its readiness to negotiate the player's transfer.
