Former Soviet Union national team and former player of the capital's "Spartak" team, Yevgeniy Lovchev, commented on the defeat of the "red-whites." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The team led by Dejan Stankovich conceded a goal that did not bring them three points in the match against Kaliningrad's "Baltika" in the second round of the Russian Premier League. According to Lovchev, the team is somewhat mentally disturbed.
He stated that Stankovich is always busy blaming the referees and that the team lacks fighting spirit. The "Match TV" channel quoted these thoughts.
Additionally, Lovchev emphasized that there are good players in the "Spartak" team, so the team should be quite successful in creating plays. Following the results of the second round, "Baltika" temporarily took first place with 4 points.
"Spartak," on the other hand, is in seventh place with 3 points. The teams need to strive to improve their performances.
