The Istanbul club "Galatasaray" is not negotiating with Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrey Lunin, who plays for Madrid's "Real," and has not done so. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This was announced by the head coach of the Turkish team, Okan Buruk. He confirmed that the club is looking for a goalkeeper, but stated that there are no plans related to Lunin.
Lunin has an agreement with "Real," which lasts until June 30, 2030. His market value is approximately 18 million euros.
In the 2024/2025 season, the Ukrainian player has appeared in a total of 14 matches across all club competitions, conceding 19 goals. Previously, there were reports that Lunin was ready to leave "Real" on the condition of being the main goalkeeper for his new team.
However, he was not given such guarantees. Therefore, "Galatasaray" is considering other options, and the process is ongoing.
The club management is approaching the goalkeeper issue with caution.
