Zarema Salihova: Spartak has been without a trophy for three years

The former owner of Moscow's "Spartak," Zarema Salihova, commented on the team's significant defeat against Kaliningrad's "Baltika" in the second round of the RPL. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

"Spartak" lost 0:3 in front of its fans. Anton Zabolotniy and Markinyos were sent off during the match.

According to Zarema Salihova, "Spartak" has been under the control of "Lukoyl" managers for three years, resulting in a score of 0:3. This is a symbolic situation, as three sports directors have worked in this period, yet no trophies have been won.

She also emphasized the absence of homegrown players in the team and the ineffectiveness of the millions of euros spent on transfers. Salihova has been active in the board of directors during Fedun's era.

In her opinion, it is crucial to focus on local players for the future of the team. Thus, the current state of "Spartak" and the issues in management are negatively affecting the team's results.
