The Spartak sports director position will not change

Oleg Malyishev, the general director of the "Spartak" team, commented on rumors that the Moscow club may soon appoint a new sports director. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He stated that they will evaluate the performance of the sports director position based on the results of the transfer window. Currently, no changes in personnel are planned within the team.

Previously, there were reports that the "red-whites" were looking for a new candidate to replace Francis Kahiga. Francis Kahiga has been active at "Spartak" since January 2025.

Before coming to Russia, he headed the scouting department at Turkey's "Galatasaray" club. Additionally, Kahiga worked as a technical director at the Chilean football federation.

Thus, the club's management emphasized that there are currently no updates regarding the sports director and stated that they will continue to monitor the situation until the end of the transfer window. This indicates that stability is being maintained in the club's personnel policy.
