The French club "Lille" is searching for a new candidate to take the place of goalkeeper Chevalier. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Chevalier is expected to move to the "PSG" club soon. This was reported by the local publication L’Equipe.
According to sources, "Lille" is considering several options. The main candidate is Robin Rufus from the Netherlands' NEC Nijmegen club.
No official offer has been made for the 22-year-old player yet, although there is interest from England as well. Rufus has played several times for the Netherlands youth and various age group national teams.
Last season, he played in 33 matches at the club level, conceding 45 goals. The goalkeeper, whose market value is 4 million euros, kept his goal clean in 10 matches.
The club is taking these statistics into account when selecting a new goalkeeper.
