High-ranking Iranian admiral killed in Israeli strike

The political and military situation in the Middle East has recently intensified significantly. Zamin.uz reported on this matter.
As a result of a precise military strike carried out by the State of Israel, Admiral Alireza Tangrisi, commander of the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran, was killed. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced this significant event in his official statement.
According to him, Admiral Tangrisi was the person directly leading planned operations to mine the Strait of Hormuz and impose restrictions on the movement of international merchant vessels. Therefore, his death is being assessed as a strike of great strategic importance.
Based on information from Israeli military sources, the high-ranking commander was targeted during a secret meeting taking place in Bandar Abbas. It is reported that due to the precisely planned attack, he and several other military personnel present with him were killed.
The Israeli Defense Minister emphasized this action as a warning signal sent to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and stated that the Israeli armed forces are ready to respond to any threat and consistently eliminate enemies. It should be noted that since the end of February, as US and Israeli military activities against Iran intensified, the situation in the region has become even more complicated.
Since attacks began on this strategically important waterway, at least twenty-two ships have been reported to have suffered strikes. Currently, more than three thousand two hundred ships are gathered in the Persian Gulf, waiting for permission to enter the strait.
This situation could have a serious negative impact on the global logistics system and the world's energy supply. The administration led by US President Donald Trump is exerting pressure on Iran with an ultimatum demanding the reopening of the strait.
At the same time, Tehran officials officially announced that on March 25, the route remains open for ships belonging to countries they do not consider enemies. Experts emphasize that the Strait of Hormuz plays a decisive role in global energy security.
Because more than half of the world's oil reserves and a large portion of liquefied gas are transported precisely through this route. The current tension poses a serious threat not only to the region but also to the stability of the global economy.
If the situation changes further, it is not unlikely that this will trigger a new economic crisis in global markets.
