The attempts of Moscow's "Spartak" team to sign forward midfielder Artur ended unsuccessfully. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Globo, Brazil's "Botafogo" club rejected the offer of 15 million euros for the 27-year-old player. The Rio de Janeiro team decided to keep one of its attacking leaders, which was done to prevent weakening in the main lineup.
The rejection came not only from the club but also from the player. Artur is not interested in returning to the Russian Premier League.
According to sources, the former "Zenit" player is living comfortably in Brazil with his family. He does not want to move elsewhere because of his young son.
For this reason, he does not wish to return to Russia. This situation negatively affected "Spartak" team's plans to strengthen their attacking line.
