Aleksandr Mostovoy, a former "Spartak" football player, commented on the possibility of Zhedson Fernandesh moving from the "Besiktas" club to a Moscow team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In his opinion, the estimated transfer fee and salary level raise questions considering the current situation in Russian football. First, there are discussions about salary restrictions, and then such large sums are allocated.
Currently, Russian teams are not participating in European competitions, yet salaries remain high. Once this transfer is announced, people in countries like England or Spain may not understand the situation in Russian football, Mostovoy said in an interview with "Sport-Express."
Fernandesh has been playing for "Besiktas" since July 2022. Last season, the 26-year-old midfielder played in 49 matches, scoring 12 goals and providing three assists.
According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 18 million euros.
