Former St. Petersburg "Zenit" player Aleksandr Kanishev described one aspect of the club's midfielder Jerson Santos as a shortcoming. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the player's actions have almost no mistakes, but the problem is that in the first two matches he did not pose a serious threat to the opponent's goal and could not escalate the situation. In Kanishev's opinion, "Zenit" did not buy Jerson for defense, but he has not yet fully demonstrated himself in attack.
It is worth noting that the Brazilian legionnaire moved from the "Flamengo" club to "Zenit" for a transfer fee of 25 million euros. Therefore, great results are expected from the player.
So far, he is not having a significant impact on the team's attack, which indicates that he needs to work on his game. Kanishev believes that Jerson needs to further develop his strengths.
The club continues to support the player, and it is hoped that he will show better results in the upcoming matches. The team's fans are also expecting more efficiency from the new player.
