The Leicester team signed a contract with Asmir Begovic

The Bosnian goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has transferred to the "Lester" team, as reported by the club's press service. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Begovic signed a one-year contract with the "Lesters." The goalkeeper is 38 years old and spent last season as a backup goalkeeper for Liverpool's "Everton" club.

The Bosnian player is well acquainted with the new head coach Marti Sifuentes, as they previously worked together at the "QPR" club in London. The "Lester" team will start the new season in the second league of the English championship.

Last season, the team returned to the Premier League but fell back down and remained in the lower league area. In the second half of the season, the team was managed by Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Now "Lester" will try to regain its strength in the new season.
